Five Robertson County Graduates Awarded Robert Dale Broadrick Memorial Scholarships
ROBERTSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Five Robertson County graduating seniors were awarded scholarships July 11, 2026, through the Robert Dale Broadrick Memorial Scholarship, established by his family following his accidental death in July 2024 to honor his memory and commitment to family, community and the military. Robert Dale was an active member of the JROTC and an avid hunter and fisherman. He was dedicated to his family, community and the military.
The $5,000 scholarships were awarded to Piper Burnett, Miles Cothron, Hailey DeSimone, Paige Pentecost and Haley Still. Each recipient exhibited dedication to continuing their education and a commitment to community.
Piper Burnett will attend UT Martin to study Veterinary Science; Miles Cothron will attend UT Martin to study Veterinary Science; Hailey DeSimone will attend Tennessee State University to study General Aviation; Paige Pentecost will attend Volunteer State Community College to become a Veterinary Technician; and Haley Still will attend Volunteer State Community College to become an RN.
The scholarships will be awarded annually and are available to graduating seniors at East Robertson High School or members of the Junior ROTC of Robertson County, Tennessee.
