Payne Chevrolet Celebrates 10 Years Of “Truck Or Treat” With Free Family Halloween Event

SPRINGFIELD, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Payne Chevrolet is marking a decade of Halloween fun this year as its annual “Truck or Treat” returns to Springfield for its 10th year.

The completely free, family-friendly event is set for Saturday, Oct. 24, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Payne Chevrolet, located at 2807 Memorial Blvd. in Springfield.

Organizers say the three-hour event will feature plenty of candy for trick-or-treat bags, along with trucks and other vehicles decked out for Halloween. Local churches, organizations and vendors will also participate, creating what organizers describe as a safe, family-friendly place for children of all ages to enjoy Halloween.

Families are encouraged to bring the kids in costume and come prepared for an evening of candy, costumes, community and Halloween fun.

One feature of the event is that participation isn’t limited to families coming to trick-or-treat. Payne Chevrolet is also inviting local businesses, churches, organizations and other vendors to take part.

While the event itself is free, food trucks will also be on site with food available for purchase.

This year’s Truck or Treat represents a milestone for Payne Chevrolet, which is celebrating 10 years of hosting the event for the community.
