Robertson County Man Charged With Child Rape, Sexual Exploitation
ROBERTSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Joseph Douglas Stevenson, 56, was booked into the Robertson County Detention Facility on October 6, 2026, on charges of rape of a child and sexual exploitation of a minor.
According to jail records, Stevenson is being held on a combined $350,000 secured bond. His court date is listed as December 7, 2026.
Smokey Barn News reached out to the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office for additional information. The Sheriff’s Office indicated that, because the case involves a juvenile and remains under active investigation, no additional details can be released at this time.
As of the time of publication, Stevenson remained in custody at the Robertson County Detention Facility in Springfield.
The charges are allegations, and Stevenson is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
