Tornado, Flash Flood Watch In Effect For Rob. County & Surrounding Areas
ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) –The Nashville – TN, US, National Weather Service has issued a Tornado watch until FRI 4:00 PM CDT for Robertson County and the following areas in middle Tennessee.
Remnants from Hurricane Laura will bring heavy rainfall, flash flooding, winds up to 40 mph and possible isolated tornados this afternoon and tonight.
Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Giles, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys, Lawrence, Lewis, Marshall, Maury, Montgomery, Perry, Wayne, Williamson.
This Includes The Cities Of Ashland City, Brentwood, Centerville, Clarksville, Clifton, Collinwood, Columbia, Dickson, Erin, Franklin, Hohenwald, Kingston Springs, Lawrenceburg, Lewisburg, Linden, Lobelville, Mcewen, Nashville, New Johnsonville, Pegram, Pulaski, Springfield, Tennessee Ridge, Waverly, And Waynesboro.

A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following areas, Bedford, Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Giles, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys, Lawrence, Lewis, Marshall, Maury, Montgomery, Perry, Robertson, Rutherford, Stewart, Sumner, Wayne, Williamson and Wilson.
Through late tonight
Heavy showers associated with the remnants of Hurricane Laura will move across Middle Tennessee this afternoon and tonight. 1 to 2 inch rainfall amounts will be common, but a few locations under the heaviest showers could have 3 to 4 inches.
Localized flash flooding may occur under the heaviest bands of showers.
