SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – According to officials with the city of Springfield, the Greenway and The Legacy Golf Course will be closed to the public effective midnight tonight through April 24th.

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – The Greenways in Robertson County are open and many citizens are out enjoying the beautiful weather. Smokey Barn News caught up with Springfield Mayor Ann Schneider who was out on the Greenway on her morning jog.

Mayor Schneider stressed the importance of getting outside and in the sun. “As we maintain our social distancing we can still get out on the beautiful Greenway and say hi to our neighbors.”

Mayor Schneider also talked about making sure that people with medical needs get in to see their doctor, or at the very least, call your doctor if you have any medical issues.

NOTE: COVID-19 testing runs from 9 am till 3pm Monday through Friday (for people with symptoms only) at the Robertson County Fairgrounds in Springfield.
