November 25 Adams Christmas in the Park at 4:00 pm

Christmas in the Park on Nov. 25 The City of Adams hosts its annual Christmas festivities, Christmas in the Park. Parade begins on Main Street, traveling up commerce in Cedar Hill Road, then passing through White Haven, coming down Church Street, onto Highway 41 and ending at Bell School.

Parade entry participants should arrive 30 minutes early to fill out the insurance form. First, second, and third place prizes will be awarded for best theme. Awards and ceremony will be held upon conclusion of The parade in the pavilion behind bill school.

Adams volunteer fire department – Toy Collection

NOTE: Although there is no entry fee required to participate in the parade, the city of Adams volunteer fire department humbly ask you to donate one new, unwrapped, toy for a child in need this Christmas.

December 1 Ridgetop “Christmas Under The Lights” Parade at 7pm.

Parade begins on Lake Rd, North on Hwy 41, East On Woodruff Ave. and disperse at Ridgetop Station Park where everyone can meet Santa & enjoy music, hot chocolate and cookies. Come out for a night of fun and fellowship! For a parade application click here (RAIN DATE: DECEMBER 2, 2017)

December 1-2 Goodlettsville “Christmas On Main”

The City of Goodlettsville is proud to present Christmas on Main during the first weekend in December. These events will include a Christmas Tree Lighting event on Friday night and the annual Christmas Parade on Saturday afternoon. To round out the weekend, join the staff and friends of Historic Mansker’s Station in Moss-Wright Park for Yulefest, a Christmas tradition for many families. All of these events are free to the public.

December 2 Pleasant View Parade at 10:00AM

Pleasant View Christmas Parade Theme “Christmas Movies” Call Pleasant View City Hall for information to register. Trophies will be awarded for the top 3 floats at the Pleasant View Community Park following the parade. Santa is coming!

December 3 Pleasant View Christmas tree Lighting, Family Night

Local churches will be singing Christmas carols and serving cookies, hot chocolate and apple cider.

December 2 White House Christmas Parade at 1:00

The 2017 Christmas Parade is Saturday, December 2nd at 1:00 pm. at Municipal Park. The theme for this year is A “Rock ‘n’ Roll Christmas” and the Grand Marshal will be the White House High School Lady Blue Devils Soccer Team. The deadline for parade entries is Thursday, November 30, BEFORE 5:15 pm.

To ensure that each business, organization, or individual participating in the parade will have a place reserved entries must be completed and returned by the deadline, to the Parks and Recreation Department. For more information, please call 615-672-4350, ext. 2114

**The Chamber of Commerce will be the only participant allowed to have a Santa Claus**

December 2 Portland Christmas Activities & Parade 3:00pm-5:30pm

The Annual Portland Christmas Festival & Parade will be held Saturday, December 2nd. Festival activities will happen from 3:00-5:30pm on Main Street. Activities will include live music, a visit with Santa, cookie decorating, Christmas crafts, food, face painting, vendor booths and more! For a parade application click here

The parade will begin at 5:30pm at Freedom Drive and will finish down Market Street. This year’s theme is “Christmas at the Movies” – pick your favorite Christmas movie! Following the parade there will be a tree lighting ceremony for the City of Portland Christmas Tree and singing by local elementary school students.

December 2 Greenbrier Winter Wonderland Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting at 4:30PM

Lineup begins at 3:30PM at Greenbrier Elementary and ends at Greenbrier First Baptist. The Tree lighting Ceremony will follow the Christmas parade on the City Hall grounds. December 8-9 & Dec. 15-16 Winter Wonderland at J. Travis price Park

A wintery holiday fantasy for all ages. Terry Martin, Director of Springfield Parks & recreation says Winter Wonderland is a unique gift to the people from the City of Springfield. The event offers great photo opportunities, costumed characters, lighted scenes, holiday music, petting zoo, and hot chocolate- -all free. You don’t have to break the bank to thoroughly enjoy this event.

Opening night is Friday, December 8 at 5:30 PM. Follow the lighted candy cane trail throughout the park to view fanciful scenes. Bring your camera (or phone with camera) for pictures with Santa. You’re your picture made with Rudolph and the Summer Lovin’ Snowman too. Youngsters can pet and feed Little Critters Petting Zoo animals. Enjoy free hot chocolate (while supplies last). December 10 (Sunday) Orlinda Christmas Parade at 2 pm

Sunday December 10th. Lineup begins at 1:30 p.m. at intersection of Price Road and West Church Street. (no requirement to register) Following the parade Byrum-Porter Sr Center located at 9123 Highway 49 in Orlinda will have an open house and serve Hot Chocolate, Coffee and other drinks along with finger foods to all those who would like to stop in and have a chance to socialize and get warm. We welcome all ages to stop and enjoy the refreshments.
