Arrests Made In Attempted Murder Case & Elmo’s Parking Lot Robbery
On 28 October around 8:30PM, officers with the Springfield Police Department, the Robertson County Sheriff’s Department and Agents with the 19th Judicial Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 506 Smith Street in Springfield.
According to Springfield Police, the search warrant was in reference to alleged sales of illegal narcotics and possible suspects in a recent robbery. Arrested at the scene were Salvador Mauricio and Reanio Ogburn. Omar Coronado was located a short time later across town and taken into custody.
Coronado and Mauricio were charged with the October 13th Aggravated Robbery of three persons in the parking lot of El Molcajete restaurant near Belk’s department store. According to Springfield Police, two guns were allegedly taken during the robbery, an AR15 assault rifle and a handgun. Both of these suspects are being held without bonds and may also face immigration charges, according to police.
Reanio Ogburn was charged with the alleged September 15th Attempted First Degree Murder of Joshua McKissick (FULL STORY). Ogburn is being held without bond pending an appearance before General Sessions Judge Joel Perry.
Rosson Herndon was previously arrested in connection with the October 13th Aggravated Robbery and a fourth suspect, Jordan Termaine Barbee remains at large. Anyone with information about the location of Barbee is urged to contact Detective Madison Burnett at (615)384-8422.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
