AT&T Text “Unsuccessful Payment” Scam Hits Robertson County
ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – An AT&T phishing text scam is moving its way through the 615 area code.
The scam comes through as a text message from AT&T indicating that your last payment to AT&T was unsuccessful and you need to call 931-286-3084. Once there you will be directed to enter your card number.
The data they collect will later be sold, likely on the dark web. Best to not call the number, even for fun.
If you feel there is a real issue with your AT&T account just call AT&T directly.
