Here’s all the info:

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency will begin its 2023-2025 Winter Trout Stocking Program throughout Tennessee. TWRA plans to release over 75,000 Rainbow Trout throughout the state including right here in Robertson County!

These fisheries provide a great opportunity to introduce children or first-time anglers to fishing. Ponds, streams, and small lakes across the state are stocked with rainbow trout during the winter months, when water temperatures are cold, and the trout can thrive in the cold water.

Trout will be stocked along the Springfield Greenway starting at the bridge at the fairgrounds and upstream from there.
