Barricaded Man Incident on Worsham Springs Road Ends Peacefully
ROBERTSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Last night, a significant police operation took place on Worsham Springs Rd, involving multiple law enforcement agencies and medical services. MAP
The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding a distressed individual in a residence on Worsham Springs Rd, the first call coming into 911 at 9:02 PM. The Greenbrier Police Department and the Tennessee Highway Patrol were also dispatched to the scene, along with the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team.
To ensure public safety, Worsham Springs Rd was shut down for several hours, and nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution.
The Greenbrier Fire Department and Robertson County EMS were on standby to provide assistance. During this time, due to concerns over officer safety, Smokey Barn News was asked to hold off on live reporting. We complied with this request to ensure the best possible outcome for all parties.
The situation was resolved peacefully, and no injuries were reported. The incident significantly impacted local residents due to the extended road closure and evacuation.
