BMW Crashes Into Adams Home, Driver Flees

ADAMS TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – The Tennessee Highway Patrol and the  Robertson County Sheriff’s Office are currently searching for the driver of a BMW that crashed into an Adams home Sunday morning.

The crash occurred just before 7:30 am when the BMW, apparently, traveling east on Port Royal Rd, approached the Kinneys Rd stop and kept going. MAP

The vehicle continued across Kinneys Rd and onto the grass traveling over 200 ft across the lawn before crashing into the home.

After impact, the driver left the scene triggering a search by local law enforcement. As of 9:45, one person was being questioned but we have no solid reports that the driver has been located. A description of the driver was also not available.

It does not appear that the driver was seriously injured and the damage to the home was largely superficial to the outer brick. The BMW will, however, need repairs before it is roadworthy again.

The Adams Fire Department, the THP, and the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the scene.
