SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A bridge on Highland Rd near the Kentucky border has collapsed. MAP
The bridge sits about 2 miles from the KY border, east of Orlinda.
Once officials determine if the bridge belongs to county or state (likely county) engineers will begin the process of replacing it.
According to RL Douglas with the Emergency Management Agency, it will be at least a month before the bridge is replaced.
According to Fire Chief Dusty Johnson with the Orlinda Fire Department, no one was injured.
