
CEMC Truck Overturns on Betts Road, Driver Escapes Injury
ROBERTSON COUNTY (Smokey Barn News) — We have an overturned commercial vehicle on Betts Road between Lights Chapel Road and New Cut Road. The vehicle is off the roadway on its side, but there is heavy first responder activity at the scene, so please drive with caution and expect delays.
As of 2:40 p.m., the roadway is completely blocked while crews work to right the truck. Officials on scene report the driver is in fair condition. This was a non-injury crash, the driver escaped without serious injury. The vehicle involved is a CEMC bucket truck. The road will likely remain blocked for about an hour while recovery operations continue.
The White House Community Volunteer Fire Department, with Robertson County EMS, the THP, and the Robertson County Emergency Management Agency all responded to the call.
