November 29 Christmas in Adams
Parade Starts at 4:00pm
The City of Adams hosts its annual Christmas festivities, Christmas in the Park.
WHEN: Saturday, November 29, 2014
On the Saturday, following Thanksgiving each year, the Christmas parade winds through the city streets of Adams and ends at the Bell School pavilion, where everyone is greeted by Christmas music, free refreshments, and complimentary pictures with Santa.
The day ends with the lighting of the park, the first day of the season-long drive-thru Christmas light display.
The Adams Christmas parade is a huge event with marching bands, many floats, and lots of community participation. It is a great way to begin the holiday season, and everyone is welcome.

Officials say, the parade will continue in the wake of Mayor Brooksher’s passing. “Mayor Brooksher would have wanted it that way.”
On Friday the Brooksher family told Smokey, “The parade will go on, that is a must”
After the parade there will be a moment of silence in remembrance of Brooksher at the pavilion, all are welcome to attend.
