Community Connects with First Responders at Cross Plains 2024 Safety Day
CROSS PLAINS, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – The annual Cross Plains Community Safety Day took place on August 24, 2024, at Kilgore Park, bringing together families and local first responders for a day of learning and fun.
Attendees had the opportunity to meet local heroes, explore emergency vehicles like fire trucks and medical helicopters, and learn crucial safety practices through hands-on activities and educational demonstrations. The event, featuring organizations such as Cross Plains Police & Fire, Robertson County EMS, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol, offered a unique chance for the community to engage with those who keep them safe.
