 Airtech International Looks To Fill 100 Positions In Springfield

This will be the company’s very first manufacturing plant in Springfield so it’s an exciting opportunity. 

The company looks to fill the following positions

*Must have HS Diploma or equivalent
*Must be able to pass drug screen and physical
*Must be able to stand, sit, bend, kneel and twist
*Must be able to lift 50lbs individually and 65lbs in a team lift
*Must be able to read work instructions
*Must be able to pass a basic skills test

    I know many women that lift that much on a regular basis and Electrolux puts that in their positions too, it does not always mean that they actually do that all of the time.

    I think this place that is hiring should only hire big strong men. No offense ladies, but it says you have to be able to lift 50 to 65 lbs. I use to lift a lot but i have killed myself young. I would not ever do that heavy lifting again. I also heard on the news tonight that Electrolux has bought out General Electric so there could be some more job opening up there. The lifting thing is a bit of advise not to offend anyone.
