COOPERTOWN TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Coopertown Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the young lady pictured as a “person of interest” in regards to a break-in at Coopertown Middle School.

UPDATE: Suspect in custody, confesses. 

Coopertown Police released the following statement:

“Thanks to reports from citizens and Robertson County Correctional Officers, the suspect has been identified as Christina Lee Davis, 37, of Kingston of Springs TN. Ms. Davis was in custody at Robertson County Detention Center on a DUI charge from 3/21/2020. Coopertown Police Detective Jackson spoke with Ms. Davis and she confessed to the incident at the school.”

A Smokey Barn News reader captured her arrest on camera following an accident. See charges below.

School officials tell Smokey Barn News that the incident occurred over the weekend. A cement block or “paver” was thrown through a door at the facility. School officials are still reviewing security video to determine what if anything was taken from the school.

Davis’ current charges are listed as: Driving Under The Influence, Burglary, Vandalism, and Aggravated Criminal Trespass. Her bond has been set at $32,500.
