Crash Trigers POWER OUTAGE In Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, TENNESSEE: (SMOKEY BARN NEWS) – A pickup truck struck a utility pole in Springfield, knocking out power to a section of the city near or surrounding Josephine Street. According to officials, the crash occurred at 8:16 pm. 
Due to the extent of the damage to the utility pole, it appears it may take some time for crews to restore power to some homes. While Springfield Utilities has an excellent track record for prompt service, no timeline for restoration is currently available.
The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody, according to officials.
