Cross Plains Search Warrant Results in Drug Bust, Multiple Arrests

CROSS PLAINS, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Deputies with the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence on Highway 25E in Cross Plains, leading to multiple arrests, citations, and the seizure of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Sheriff Michael Van Dyke stated:
“The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office has been committed to and will continue to target drug dealers in our county. These criminals are not welcome in our community, and we will not tolerate them endangering our citizens.”

The following individuals were charged:

  • 28-year-old Nathan Clark of Cross Plains was cited for drug paraphernalia and failure to appear out of Sumner County.
  • 28-year-old Kayla Peck of Hendersonville was cited for drug paraphernalia.
  • 49-year-old Richard Birdwell Jr. of Cross Plains was cited for drug paraphernalia.

  • 51-year-old Connie Jacobs of Cross Plains was charged with simple possession of Schedule II (Meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia with bond set at $22,500.00.

  • 36-year-old Karl Bond of Cross Plains was charged with a fugitive from justice warrant (no bond) and an active warrant for possession of a controlled substance in the first degree (cocaine) out of Kentucky.

  • 34-year-old Shaina Thompson of Cross Plains was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of meth with intent to resell with bond set at $28,000.00.

  • 27-year-old Leslie Harper of Cross Plains was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia with bond set at $1,000.00.

  • 48-year-old Jesse Johnson of Cross Plains was charged with violation of probation warrant with bond set at $7,500.00.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
