Deadly Hwy 76 Crash Claims 21-Yr-Old Ashland City Woman
ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE (Smokey Barn News) – The Tennessee Highway Patrol is now releasing more information about a violent fatal crash on Hwy 76 Saturday night.
According to the Tennesee Highway Patrol, 21-year-old Kaly Renee Wright of Ashland City Tennesee died in the crash.
The crash occurred around 9 pm on Hwy 76 in a curve just passed Savage Creek Dr. (location of crash) Savage Creek Dr sits between Springfield and White House Tennessee about 3 miles from I65.
According to the THP’s preliminary report, Kaly, driving a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee, was traveling west on Highway 76 when she failed to negotiate a downhill curve to the left and ran off the road to the right.
Kaly’s vehicle then went into a steep embankment and struck a mailbox. The vehicle continued to travel west across a private driveway before striking a tree. The impact put Kaly’s vehicle into a violent spin before striking another tree nearly head-on. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The THP’s report makes no reference that drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash and she was wearing her safety belt.
