Donations Needed For “Blessing Bags” For Elderly shut-Ins

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – The Robertson County Senior Center is preparing “Blessing Bags” for “Meals On Wheels” participants and other Elderly shut-Ins for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

We are asking people in the community if they would like to donate their time or donate: Scarves, Hats, Gloves, Socks, Handkerchieves, Find a Word or Crossword Puzzle Books and Toiletries of all kinds for Men and Women.

For the past two years, the Senior Center has delivered blessings bags to 50 Women and 50 Men and would love to deliver that many or more this year for the holidays.

Thank you to all in advance for any donation and for prayers as there are many Seniors in our community that fall into the category of Shut-Ins.

Contact Information & more details: Robertson County Senior Center is located at 601 S Locust St in Springfield, Tennessee. Phone: (615) 384-6367. Email: [email protected]
