Driver Hospitalized After Flying Over Ravine On Hwy 76
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – An SUV was totaled and the driver was hospitalized after the vehicle careened off Hwy 76 at Oakland Rd, flying over a ravine before crashing into a line of trees. The first call coming into 911 at 8:44 pm. LOCATION OF CRASH
Though the vehicle took heavy frond-end damage the driver survived. The driver was found walking a short distance from the crash, injured, but otherwise in reasonable shape. The driver was transported to an area hospital, we do not know the full extent of their injuries.
Hwy 76 was closed for a short time while the THP investigated the crash and the vehicle was removed.
The Greenbrier Fire Department, Robertson County EMS, the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office, and Drake’s Auto Repair and Towing all responded to the call.
