SPRINGFIELD, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News), The driver of a passenger car is lucky to be alive following a rollover crash that left his vehicle completely obscured from the road, hidden by brush. Officials told Smokey Barn News that utility workers heard the crash and called 911. If not for them, the driver may have never been found.

The crash occurred Monday afternoon on Highway 431 North near Jack Borthok Road at the top of the county. The first call to 911 came in at 1:08 p.m. LOCATION OF CRASH

The crash left the vehicle on its side, and the gentleman was pinned inside. North Robertson Fire and Rescue was called in to extricate the driver, and Robertson County EMS began nonemergency transport to a local hospital. Smokey Barn News has learned that at some point during transport, his condition was reevaluated, and he was upgraded to emergency traffic and routed to Skyline Medical Center’s trauma center in Nashville. We do not have an update on his condition.
