Driver Pinned After 3 Vehicle Head-On Crash On Hwy 12

PLEASANT VIEW TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A three-vehicle violent head-on crash on Hwy 12 involving a tractor-trailer left one of the drivers trapped inside his vehicle Wednesday morning.

The Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department responded to the crash on Hwy 12 near Moseley Ferry around 11:30 am Wednesday morning. MAP

The victim was pinned inside a pickup truck and required extrication by the Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department. The driver was transported to an area hospital with “semi-critical” injuries, according to officials with the Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department.

The other occupants did not sustain serious injuries, officials said.

A cause of the crash was not immediately available but wet roads may have played a factor.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol, Cheatham County EMA, Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office, Cheatham County EMS, CC Dispatch and the AC Police Department all responded to the scene.
