Driver Survives Interstate Rollover Tuesday Night
PORTLAND, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A lucky driver somehow survived an interstate rollover crash Tuesday night with just minor injuries. The collision occurred on Interstate 65 north near the Tennessee/Kentucky state line, the first call coming into 911 at 8:10 pm. LOCATION OF CRASH
The single-vehicle crash was reported at mile marker 119. Orlinda Fire Chief Patrick Darrow confirmed the driver sustained only minor injuries. A cause of the crash was not immediately available.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene, including the Orlinda Fire, the Portland Fire, Robertson County EMS, Sumner County EMS, Portland Police, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
Due to the mechanics and positioning of the crash at an off-ramp, traffic was moderately affected while crews worked the scene, and no other injuries were reported.
