East Robertson Girls Volleyball Coach Indicted On Sex Crimes

ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – This is an update to a story we brought you back in September regarding a Spanish teacher and girls volleyball coach at East Robertson High facing allegations of misconduct.

Following an investigation, the teacher, now identified as 31-year-old Clifton Weathers Horn of White House, is facing numerous charges. At 12:22 am this morning, Horn was booked into the Robertson County Detention Facility in Springfield after an indictment was returned by the Robertson County Grand Jury.

Horn allegedly hid video recording equipment in the girls’ locker room to capture them changing clothes or using the restroom, according to court documents released Tuesday. Horn then allegedly tried to destroy more than 700 files from his phone.

According to the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office, Horn faces several charges that include, one count of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, one count of unlawful photography in violation of privacy, one count of tampering with evidence, one count of sexual exploitation of a minor, six counts of attempted especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, and six counts of attempted unlawful photography in violation of privacy.

The charges stem from an investigation while Horn was a girls Volleyball coach and Spanish teacher at East Robertson High School. According to Robertson County School’s Officials, Horn was suspended from East Robertson back in September once the investigation began. Horn resigned a short time later, according to school officials in September.

After booking, Horn spent a little less than an hour in the Robertson County Detention facility, bonding out on a $25,000 bond at 1:16 am.

Allegations Trigger Investigation/Suspension Of East Robertson High Employee

CROSS PLAINS TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Allegations of misconduct has led to the temporary suspension of an employee at East Robertson High School without pay, according to school officials.

Both the District and the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office are investigating allegations of what is being called misconduct by a male employee of the school.

UPDATE: According to Robertson County Schools officials, the employee has resigned and more information should be released on Tuesday.

The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office told Smokey Barn News that they are investigating the allegations but no charges have been made against the employee and no one has been arrested.

The name of the employee and the nature of the allegations are being withheld pending the outcome of the investigation into the allegations.
