EMA Makes Sandbags Available to Residents in Low-Lying Areas Ahead of Storms

CLOSING AT NOON

ROBERTSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) -Robertson County EMA, with the assistance of the United Way of Robertson County, is putting together a sandbag distribution center. Sandbags will be filled on-site and distributed to residents in low-lying, flood-prone areas. A valid photo ID with the address associated with potential flooding is required.

“Our agency asks that you have patience as volunteers will be working diligently to fill sandbags,” said Chance Holmes, Director of the Robertson County Emergency Management Agency. At this time, no delivery of sandbags will be made.

We want to say thank you to United Way of Robertson County, the Robertson County Fairgrounds, and TEMA for their assistance in making this a reality.

When: Saturday, 4/5/2025
Time: Starting at 8 AM — a message will be sent out on the Robertson County EMA Facebook page upon the site closing.
