EVENT: Jeep Lovers Gather! Coopertown Police Raising Funds for Kids
COOPERTOWN, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – As part of the Coopertown Police Department’s ongoing commitment to supporting the community, the department is preparing for its 3rd Annual Jeeps4LittlePeeps Show & Shine Event to raise funds for its annual Shop-With-A-Cop program.
The Shop-With-A-Cop initiative helps ensure that disadvantaged children receive Christmas gifts by partnering with Coopertown schools to identify students in need. The event is entirely funded by community donations, allowing local officers to spread holiday cheer while fostering positive interactions between children and law enforcement.
Jeeps4LittlePeeps Show & Shine – April 12, 2025
The Jeeps4LittlePeeps Show & Shine will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Coopertown Middle School. DIRECTIONS The event is free and open to the public, with donations appreciated and accepted at the Coopertown Police tent.
Those wishing to enter their Jeeps in the Show & Shine competition must register at 8 a.m. with a minimum $25 donation. Vehicles will be judged in four categories:

Best Modified
-
Best Vintage

Muddiest Jeep
Winners in each category will receive trophies and prizes donated by event sponsors.
Food and refreshments will be available from B’More Salty, Kona Ice, and Whitt’s Barbeque. Additionally, various Jeep-related vendors will be on-site. (Vendor space is limited—interested vendors should contact Sergeant Parker at 615-382-7007 ext. 204 or email [email protected]).
This year’s Jeeps4LittlePeeps marks a shift from its original police-escorted Jeep ride, which became difficult to manage due to overwhelming participation. The Show & Shine format was introduced based on positive community feedback and ensures that the event remains accessible and fun for all involved.
