Family Says Pit-Bull Saved Them From Condo Fire In Springfield
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Around 2:30am Fire crews were dispatched to a condominium fire located on Pepper Grove Ave in Springfield. The fire was detected early and firefighter’s were able to contain the fire to one room in the condo.
The family says it was their pet Pit-Bull that woke them up and probably saved all their lives. There were two adults and two children in the home at the time of the fire and all escaped without serious injury. One resident was treated for minor smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The family indicated that they did have insurance. For more details see video report.
