Fast Cars And Wrestling Entertain Pleasant View Residents Saturday
PLEASANT VIEW TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – It was cars and wrestling Saturday night in Pleasant View and entertainment hungry citizens were plentiful.
About 100 cars showed up for the Pleasant View Cruise’n N Groove’n – at the Village Square. City officials tell Smokey Barn News that it was the second-best attended all-time crowd. Many beautiful vehicles made an appearance including a new 2020 Corvette. We took photos of just about every vehicle at the show, including several pics of Bill Calabrese’s new 2020 Corvette. See a few photos below and a link to a full album of all the cars.
The Cruise’n N Groove’n was held at the Pleasant View Village on 41A, South of Hwy 41A. The monthly event welcomes Classic Cars & Trucks / Jeeps, Customs, Muscle Cars, Street Rods, Rat Rods & Motorcycles, and it’s free to attend.
The monthly car show goes from 5 pm – 9 pm and offers music, food, shopping, and lots of vehicles. Each month they have the Mayor’s Choice Vehicle, plus the Mayor’s Monthly “Theme” Vehicle. See the event flyer below for next month.
September, they will be honoring our Veterans, then October the theme will be “TRUNK n TREAT” for the kids.
Wrestling…..
Saturday evening, Ohio Valley Wrestling hosted a wrestling event outside, adjacent to Leatherwood Distillery.
In between clobbering each other in the ring, Ohio Valley Wrestling stars were on hand to meet fans and sign autographs. According to the promoters, portions of the proceeds are slated for the Chapter 38 Special Forces and the Green Beret Foundation.
Smokey Barn News captured some of the action, see our video coverage at the top of this report.
