ROBERTSON COUNTY/MIDDLE TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – The National Weather Service of Nashville have issued a Fire Weather Watch for Thursday from 11 AM to 6 PM for all of Middle Tennessee. A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur.

*This may be upgraded to a Red Flag Warning in the morning.

AFFECTED AREA…All of Middle Tennessee.

WINDS…South 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

RELATIVE HUMIDITY…18 to 22 percent.

IMPACTS…Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Forecast Details

• Elevated fire weather conditions for all of Middle Tennessee 11 AM to 6 PM Thursday
• Outdoor burning & activities that cause open sparks or flames are discouraged
• Breezy southerly winds 10-15 mph gusting 20-30 mph, strongest winds in the northwest portion of the area
• Thursday afternoon relative humidity 20-25%
• Wet weather returns Thursday night into Saturday
• Cool Saturday into early next week, frost possible Saturday and Sunday night
