SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – It is that time of year again when hunting season is upon us and we are going to start offering TWRA Hunter Education Classes.
Anybody born after January 1, 1969 must have completed a Hunter Education Course through TWRA before they can hunt.
We will be having a class starting October 16, 2017 thru October 20, 2017. The class will be held in Springfield at the Highland Rim Experiment Station Monday thru Friday, 6-9 pm.
The state requires that the class be a minimum 11 hours long.

Minimum-Age Policy
All registrants for this event must be 9 years of age by Monday, Oct 16, 2017. The course is offered free of charge to anyone interested regardless of age; however, you must be nine years of age or older in order to become a certified hunter education graduate.
