Freeze Warning & Winter Weather Advisory (Mid Evening To Wed. AM)
ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – The US National Weather Service Nashville Tennessee has issued a Winter Weather Advisory on this 1st day of Spring 2018.
The advisory is in effect from the mid evening hours tonight through the mid morning hours on Wednesday.
As an upper level disturbance moves across eastern portions of the Highland Rim and Upper Cumberland Regions from the mid evening hours tonight through the mid morning hours on Wednesday, accumulating snowfall will be possible.
Total snow accumulations of one, up to two inches are possible late tonight into early Wednesday morning for northern counties in middle Tennessee and across southern Kentucky. This also includes the higher elevations of Sumner County and Macon County.
When: From 10 PM CDT this evening to 10 AM CDT Wednesday. Plan on slippery road conditions, including during the morning commute on Wednesday. Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Use caution while driving. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 511.
