May 8 (Mothers Day Weekend)

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Mark your calendars, Corbin Creek Greenhouse’s annual Customer Appreciation Day is on!

Be sure to join us on Saturday, Mothers Day Weekend.

“It’s our way of saying ‘thank you’ to our customers for supporting us during the past 18 years,” said co-owner Amy Corbin. “Mothers Day is traditionally the start of the ‘planting season.’ I remember every year growing up, taking my grandmother and mother to a nursery for Mothers Day and buying them flowers, another tidbit of ‘Southern Tradition.”

“Although some call it -hotdog day, Corbin Creek Customer Appreciation Day is a big tradition here at Corbin Creek and for many families in the area, you won’t want to miss it. Be sure to bring the entire family! We will have FREE hotdogs, chips, drinks, cakes, and door prizes from 10:00 am until the food runs out. It’s become a family tradition for many, so come see us!” Learn more about our long history in Spingfirled below!

Jane and Jimmy Corbin founded Corbin Creek Greenhouse & Gifts back in 1996 offering quality plants such as annuals, perennials, and blooming shrubs.  In total, Corbin Creek Greenhouse sprawling nursery, undercover, and open areas consist of three beautiful countryside acres in the heart of Springfield which sits in the heart of Robertson County.

With generations of history in Robertson County, the Corbin family is dedicated to the community. “Robertson County is home to us and has been for generations.”

“Proven Winners make up 99% of our inventory,” said second-generation and daughter Amy Corbin. Proven Winners offer superior breeding and genetics in plants on the market today.  “Their genetics are superior, genetics are as big in horticulture as in human medicine.”

Amy Corbin took the helm of Corbin Creek Greenhouse a while back while co-founder Jane Corbin continues to help with day-to-day operations. Sadly Jimmy Corbin passed away in 2007 but his name and legacy continue with every plant sold at Corbin Creek.

Jimmy Corbin makes the news!!

“I love growing flowers, love growing new varieties of plants and things that you don’t find other places,” said Amy Corbin. “We grow a variety of perennials and annuals, vegetable slips, herbs, blooming shrubs including hydrangeas, butterfly bushes, tropicals, hanging baskets, and more.  We also grow and sell fresh produce in the summer including tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, and more.”
