Golly G’s Coming To Greenbrier Town Square
GREENBRIER TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – It’s official, Golly G’s is coming to Greenbrier. The announcement was released Friday morning.
This will be Golly G’s fourth location in Middle Tennessee. Slated to open in early spring, the new eatery will set right in the heart of Greenbrier’s new town square on the corner of Hwy 41 and College St. MAP
Golly G’s Coffee, Ice Cream & Sweets is a coffee, ice cream and sweet shop with locations in Clarksville, Pleasant View and Sango TN. They offer locally roasted coffee, homemade ice cream, and made-from-scratch baked goods.
Golly G’s is the first official addition to the new Greenbrier town square. The location’s official name is “Town Square Commons” and it’s the brainchild of Jody Dorris and Brandon Frank. Both men are local and share a love for the community. – The project focuses on historic preservation, repurposing existing space, and bringing new businesses to the community.
The project is both restoration/modification. According to Brandon and Jody, the project does call for the buildings to be modified for function and safety but the plan is to preserve as much of Greenbrier’s history as possible. (see video below)
