Greenbrier Barn Lost To Fire Early Thursday
GREENBRIER, TENNESSEE (Smokey Barn News): A barn fire in the 2800 block of Gideon Road early yesterday morning destroyed hundreds of hay bales but caused no injuries, officials said. MAP
According to Greenbrier Fire Chief Kyle Hamill, crews were dispatched around 4:18 a.m. after the property owner noticed the blaze upon waking for work. The barn, approximately 50 by 50 feet, was fully involved on arrival with about 200 square bales of hay burning.
The cause of the fire remains undetermined. While no injuries were reported, officials say animals may have been lost in the blaze.
Fire crews from Greenbrier, Ridgetop, and White House Community fire departments responded to the scene, along with Robertson County EMS. Photos of the fire were shared by the Ridgetop Fire Department.
