Greenbrier Murder Suspect Still At Large–What We Know

GREENBRIER, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Despite a tremendous effort by law enforcement, murder suspect Jimmy Anthony Cox, is still at large. Numerous law enforcement agencies have been trying to locate Cox since yesterday, and now the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office is releasing more information.
Deputies have an active arrest warrant for criminal homicide against Cox (39) in connection with the death of Jeremy Dean Crabtree (50) at a residence on Fisher Grove Road in Greenbrier, TN.
On February 4, 2025, deputies responded to a welfare check at the residence, where they discovered Crabtree deceased with stab wounds. Investigators determined the homicide stemmed from a domestic altercation between Crabtree, the stepfather, and the suspect, his stepson, Jimmy Cox. Following the incident, Cox fled the scene on foot.
Multiple law enforcement agencies have conducted an extensive search of the area using aircraft, drones, K9 units, and ground patrols. Authorities have also responded to numerous reports of possible sightings, but none have been confirmed.
Cox is considered dangerous, and the public is urged to use caution. If you have any information on his whereabouts, call 911 immediately.
