Greenbrier Police Investigating String Of Vehicle Burglaries, Stolen Vehicle
GREENBRIER, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – The Greenbrier Police Department is investigating a series of vehicle burglaries that occurred during the early morning hours of June 9, 2026.
According to police, the burglaries occurred between approximately 3:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. At this time, investigators have identified as many as eight vehicles that were entered.
Police say two firearms were stolen during the burglaries, and one vehicle was also taken.
Investigators are asking residents in the areas of Church Street, Sunday Silence Drive, Wilson Street, and Green Meadow Court to review any surveillance or doorbell camera footage recorded between 3:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.
Anyone with video footage or information related to the investigation is asked to contact investigators at 615-913-0072 or send a message to the Greenbrier Police Department.
Police are also reminding residents to remove firearms and other valuables from unattended vehicles, always lock vehicle doors, even when parked at home, and report suspicious activity immediately.
The Greenbrier Police Department says community assistance and vigilance are appreciated as investigators work to identify those responsible and recover the stolen property.
