Hearings Scheduled To Rezone 6th Graders For 2021-2022 School Year
ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) –Beginning with the 2021-2022 school year, the Innovation Academy will start the transition to becoming a 6-12 STEAM Magnet School.
With the renovation completion at Coopertown Elementary School, 4th & 5th grade students that are currently attending Coopertown Middle School will return to Coopertown Elementary. Incoming Springfield Middle School 6th grade students will be rezoned to other district school sites and will attend their new school beginning in August, 2021.
A rezoning proposal was presented to the Board of Education on March 8, 2021 for their consideration. Public comment will be received during a series of public hearings as listed below. All are invited to attend.

* March 30, 2021 Coopertown Middle School 6:00 p.m.
* April 5, 2021 Cheatham Park Elementary School 6:00 p.m.
* April 6, 2021 Crestview Elementary School 6:00 p.m.
