Peggy loved her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She enjoyed getting together with family and friends, and she especially liked decorating her house for the holidays and having the family together.

Born in Nashville, she attended St. Cecilia Academy and was the 1947 St. Cecilia Girl.

Peggy was an avid football fan and a long-time Titans season ticket holder. She coached her daughter in Madison Little League, and she supported her children in sports activities, including Madison High basketball! Peggy loved her job and her coworkers at Nashville Chemical and continued working into her 80s. She was “Momma Peggy” to many of the employees over the years, and she was the cheerful voice the customers wanted to talk to. She said Nashville Chemical was her happy place, and she hardly ever missed a day of work! When she retired in 2013, she joined her friends at the Madison Senior Center a few days a week.

Peggy was also very fond of her family’s pets. Although she accused her children of bringing animals home, she quickly came to love them! In the last few years, Littlebit became her beloved companion.
