Lesley Kristen Donihi, age 39 of Ashland City, Tennessee, died Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at TriStar Ashland City Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View, Saturday, June 1st, at 1:00PM with Bro. Don Dungan officiating. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham with family serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Saturday, June 1st, from 10AM until the hour of service at 1:00PM.
Lesley was born on May 5, 1980 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Rondall Moseley and Cynthia Walker. She has worked for Sonic in Ashland City for the last 10 years.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Neil Donihi; and daughter, Sarah Donihi.
Lesley is survived by daughters, Nicole and Sophia Donihi; mother, Mary Moseley; and brothers, Trey (Chelsie) Cruise and Christopher Moseley.

Obituary for Paul Harris Strange
Paul Harris Strange, 84, of Adams, passed away on Wednesday May 29, 2019 at the home of his son in Adams. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday June 2, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Reverend Ken Gillespie officiating. Interment will follow in Adams Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Strange was born June 25, 1934 in Robertson County to the late John W. and Pauline Watts Strange. He was retired Staff Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force, having served in Vietnam and served a total of 20 years before retiring. After retirement, he worked as a property surveyor, and worked at both Ace Hardware and Walker Hardware in Springfield. Mr. Strange was a member of Adams United Methodist Church. He loved fishing and being with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Opal Davis Strange, his children: Bill Strange, Elaine Douglas, and Jackie Brophy, and by several siblings. Mr. Strange is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law: Ronnie and Gail Strange of Adams, David and Michelle Strange of Florida, his brother: Ronnie Strange of Cedar Hill, his sister: Theresa Head of Adams, 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and one on the way.

Detective Sergeant John Denney Coarsey, age 64 of Madison, TN, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Robert and Ermina Coarsey. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Brenda Coarsey; son, Jason (Danielle) McElhaney; daughter, Heather Coarsey; grandchildren, Justin (Amber) Etheredge, Cole Pulley, Alexis McElhaney, Madeline Robertson; and great-grandchildren, Waylon and Weston Etheredge.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 4pm until 8pm and again on Saturday, June 1 from 11am until 1:30pm. The family will then have 30 minutes private time prior to the Celebration of Life Service beginning at 2pm at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Hendersonville. Father Jeff Jones and Pastor Gary Ferrell will officiate. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Serving as pall bearers are Commander Scott Ryan, Sgt. Neal Harris, Det. Steve Malach, Det. Andy Harrell, Det. Jim Bachman, and Det. Jason Steffy.

Obituary for Troy Wayne Ford
Age 46 of Springfield passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at his home. He was born April 20, 1973 in Nashville, TN to Donald Edward and Joyce Elrod Ford. He was an all around cowboy, who loved horseback riding, bull riding and worked as a farrier.
He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Edward Ford; step-father, Leon Gregory. He is survived by his mother, Joyce Gregory, Springfield, TN; twin sister, Tracey (Todd) Brinson; niece, Kyndal Brinson; nephews, Kaleb Brinson and Griffin Brinson, all of Kearneysville, WV; his faithful canine companion “Kyuu”.
Funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 11am in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Bro. Adam Cothron officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery in Portland, TN with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, June 3, 2019 4-8pm and Tuesday, June 4, 2019 10-11am at the funeral home.

William “Darrell” Milliken, age 68 of Joelton, Tennessee, died Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at his residence.
His remains will be cremated and there are no services planned at this time.
Darrell was born on June 15, 1950 to the late Russell and Alice Leibfritz Milliken. He was retired from YRC trucking company and was a Christian.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Tonya; and a niece, Stephanie Mayo Jock.
He is survived by a sister, Annette (Glenn) Jones; sister by heart, Betty (Don) Harris; nieces, Noel Saturday, Bailee Saturday, and Kim Hackett; nephews, Ryan Sterry, Austin Beard, and Adam Sterry; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

John “Eddie” Hudgens, Jr., age 58 of Springfield, died Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Williamson Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 31, 2019 at 12:00 noon in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. H.D. Jones and Rev. Mark Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery with Tim Glodosky, Mike Dill, Troy Drake, Lanny Chowning, Cole Dean, and Kevin Dean serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 2 until 8 PM and Friday from 9 AM until the hour of service.
Mr. Hudgens was born March 24, 1961 in Davidson County to Mabel Joyce Smith Hudgens and the late John Edward Hudgens, Sr. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church and was the owner of Eddie’s Tile. He loved the farm, especially his cows and his truck. He was a people person, showing his love for his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa A. Hudgens of Springfield; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Latesha Hudgens of Clarksville; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Kevin Dean of Springfield; mother, Mabel Joyce Hudgens of Clarksville; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Doug Willoughby of Clarksville; and grandchildren, Garrison Hudgens, Dalaney Hudgens, Belle Dean, and Cole Dean and wife, Ashley.

Obituary for Jeffrey Randal Furr
Jeffrey Randal Furr, 61, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday May 25, 2019 at North Crest Medical Center.
His remains were cremated. Jeff was born October 1, 1957 in Concond, NC to the late Donald Eugene Furr and the late Helen Canupp Honeycutt. He worked in roofing and construction and was of the Baptist faith. Jeff enjoyed raising chickens and watching football.
Jeff is survived by his children: Tangie Williams, Stephanie Furr, Randal Kennedy, Amanda Furr, and Katelyn Furr, by his brother: Sonny Furr of Concord, NC, by his sisters: Anita Mireles of Springfield and Fonda Barbee of New London, NC, and by many grandchildren.

Rebecca Louise Morris, 82, of Springfield, passed from this life on Friday May 24, 2019 at North Crest Medical Center.

Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Trent Hand, Vince Hand, Jarret Reed, Holden Reed, Isaac Bourne, Ryan Morris, Caleb Starks, and Jeremy Rogers serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Morris was born September 4, 1936 in Robertson County to the late John and Mildia Cantrell Wilson. She worked many years for Dr. Jackson in Springfield until his retirement, and then worked at Golden Living Nursing Home until her retirement. Mrs. Morris was a member of Center Point Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, going to Panama City Beach, and was an excellent cook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson: Christopher Kenneth Stroud, and by her sisters: Jesse Newberry, Reba Williams Newberry, and Meakle Newberry.
Mrs. Morris is survived by her husband: Ray Patterson Morris, Sr. of Springfield, her sons and daughters-in-law: Ray Patterson and Donna Morris, Jr., of Goodlettsville, John David Morris and Sheila Hollis of Cedar Hill, daughters and sons-in-law: Cathy Jane and Ken Stroud of Springfield, Mary Beth and Ray Garrison of Clarksville, Patti Rae and Mark Bourne of Adams, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Obituary for Carl Edmund Matthews
Carl Edmund Matthews, 83, of Greenbrier, departed this life on Friday May 24, 2019 at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 29th at 3:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Brother Martin Babb officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Don Pugh, Walter Martin, Skip Carpenter, and Bobby Murray serving as pallbearers. Mr. Matthews was born August 25, 1935 in Johnston, North Carolina to the late Clarence and Eva Beasley Matthews. He was a retired electronics technician with the Federal Aviation Administration and was a member of Springfield Baptist Church. Mr. Matthews enjoyed writing music, playing his guitar, and birdwatching. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Cindy Verhegge, his brother: Maxie Matthews, and his granddaughter: Sarah Woodall.
Mr. Matthews is survived by his wife: Shelia Pugh Matthews of Greenbrier, his daughters and son-in-law: Rachel and Tim Powlas of Anchorage, Alaska, Lisa Malone of Murfreesboro, his sister and brother-in-law: Joan and Jack Wheeler of Durham, NC, his grandchildren: Evan Powlas, Darrell Woodall, Ryan Verheggee, Max Nerheggee, Sydney Verheggee, Amy Malone, and Caitlin Pasquale, and by 7 great grandchildren.

Obituary for Victoria Lee Wilson
Victoria Lee Wilson, 63, of Pleasant View, passed away quietly in her sleep to be with our Heavenly Father on Thursday. Victoria was born in McKeesport, PA to the late John Nehez and the late Grace Elaine LaRose Movic. She was an educated, fun loving, upbeat individual who was a positive influence too all who knew her. Victoria retired from the US Post Office after 22 years of service, and from teaching Motorcycle Safety for 15 years. She would always be willing to lend a helping hand whenever needed, crack a joke, instill confidence and/or join in the fun and activities whenever possible. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and her puppies outranked anyone and everyone. She was of the Catholic faith. Victoria was a loving spouse, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who always placed the well being of others first and foremost. Being around her grandchildren for love and support whenever possible was the biggest joy in her life and made her the happiest woman in the world.
Victoria is survived by her husband of 32 years, Michael Edward Wilson, her sons: Christopher Scott (Amy) Erlandson of Chicago, Ronald Keith (Aimee) Erlandson of Alexandria, VA, and Grant Steven (Angela Mueller) Erlandson of Lebanon, her brothers: Ray Perret of Pittsburgh, PA and Dan Perret, 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, her loving puppies: Kahleesi and Bentley, and an abundance of friends and adopted family.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Friday May 31, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
Nothing would please Victoria more than for donations to be given in her memory to the Wounded Warriors or to the USMC Toys for Tots.

Jimmie Douglas Pitt, 83, of Springfield, passed from this life on Thursday May 23, 2019 at his home.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday May 28th at 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Owen and Pastor Russ Noss officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Joshua Pitt, Douglas Pitt, Tyler Pitt, Jason Arnold, Zachary Allen, Cole Allen, Joshua Allen, and Keith Allen serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Ed Carver, Terry Roberts, Ed Coleman, Bobby Sneed, James Earl Freeland, Larry Pinson, Nolan Blick, Fritz Ring, David Head, Chester Frazier, Ronnie Cope, Jimmy Villines, Mark Henry, and Will Ed Osborne. The family received friends on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
Jimmie was born April 17, 1936 in Cross Plains to the late Douglas and Evelyn Jones Pitt. He was a lifelong farmer and was a retired tire builder with Perelli Armstrong with over 30 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Jimmie was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, where he was a former deacon. He was a member of the Cross Plains Masonic Lodge and was often called the Ambassador of Cross Plains by his friends and neighbors. Jimmie loved woodworking, rebuilding old tractors, landscaping and gardening, his horses, and was an excellent craftsman.
Jimmie is survived by his wife of 37 years: Susanne Goodman Pitt of Springfield, his daughter and son-in-law: Lisa and Jim Wells of White House, his sons and daughters-in-law: David and Patty Pitt of Conroe, TX, Jason and Stacie Pitt of White House, Jimmy and Sherri Allen of Adams, David and Gretchen Allen of White House, Brian and Monica Allen of Clarksville, 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Willard “Will” Perdue, age 76, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, died Sunday, May 26th, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View, Thursday, May 30th, at 1:00PM with Bro. Jon Forrest officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Department.
His remains will be cremated following the funeral service.

Mr. Perdue was born on January 8, 1943 in Portland, Tennessee to the late Maynard L. and Mary Elizabeth Faulin Perdue. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Vietnam War in MedEvac operations. He was a Sgt. in the Army National Guard and served for 44 years in law enforcement. Sgt. Perdue served as the D.A.R.E. Officer for Cheatham County for 10 years prior to his retirement. He was a Christian.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Sandy Hunter; son, Wendell Perdue; and granddaughter, Stephanie Perdue.
He is survived by his wife Debbie Perdue; children, Crystal Carrol (Randy Lane), Shina (Michael) Hart, Derek (Jordan) Osborne, Justin Osborne, Kevin (Angela) Carroll; brother, Wendell Perdue; grandchildren, Tiffanie, Samantha, Ashley, Cailey, Cameron, Ariel, Justis, Alayna, Jensen, Tucker, Addison, Brianna, and Rickey (Krista); and seven great-grandchildren.

Rev. Chesley Ray “Bud” Hill, age 85, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, died Friday, May 24th, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View, Wednesday, May 29th, at 10:00AM with Bro. Billy Ellis and Bro. Barry Simpson officiating. Burial will follow at EverRest of Cheatham with Larry Whitworth, Shane Staggs, Stephen Rausch, Kurt Heber, James Thomas Walker, and Kevin White serving as pallbearers. Loel Watts, Roy Jenson, Glenn Roberts, Steve Smith, and Robert Bell Ellis will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Mr. Hill was born on May 4, 1934 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Chesley and Nellie Mae Irene Hughes Hill. He served and preached for over 65 years in many churches among the Free Will Baptist denomination. He also taught school for 30 years and was an avid supporter of Welch College. He was a member of the Heads Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Holt; and step-granddaughter, Brittney Menerey.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Hill; son, Paul C. (Elaine) Hill; daughter, Celecia (Baron) Cutts; grandchildren, Cara (Stephen) Rausch, Cayla Cutts (fiance, Shane Staggs), and Lauren Broome; and great grandchildren, RJ Rausch, AJ Menerey, Bayley Thomas, and Coltyn Thomas.

Mrs. Kavanagh was born on May 18, 1933 in Oakland, California to the late Malcom and Pauline Ruskofsky Douglass. She retired from the health care industry.

Obituary for Priscilla Baldwin
Priscilla Ann Baldwin, age 79, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, May 24th, 2019, surrounded by family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 5th, 2019 (4PM – 8 PM) at The Livery Stables Events Hall at 1104 Main Street, Pleasant View, TN 37146.
Mrs. Baldwin was born on January 25, 1940 in Bangor, Maine to the late Edmund and Mildred (Perry) LaPointe. She was an expert in the field of interior and exterior home design, which fed her passion for bringing beauty to everything around her. She was an avid gardener, and created stunning gardens in every home that she owned. Later in life, she became a hospice caregiver, because she felt that she could offer compassion and companionship to her friends near the end of their lives. She taught her children traditional Christian family values by example, and to look for beauty in the world.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Brien Dossiere; brothers, Perry and Dudley; sisters, Betty, Suzanne, and Elle.
She is survived by son, Jeff (Jane) Dossiere; daughter, Susanne (Jeff) Crow; sister, Judy Standley; and grandchildren, James, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Anthony, Jason, Jesse, and Evan.
Priscilla will be greatly missed by so many. She truly loved her long-time career as Nana, and always tried to help others less fortunate. The giving of gifts, even if they were sometimes a little wacky, was her love language. It was well-known that if you happened to mention that you needed something, anything, she would try to buy it for you. She was so sweet, and her heart was always to help others.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to the Sycamore High School War Eagles Football Team in her memory, as she always wanted to support her children’s endeavors.
