Large Tobacco Barn Fire Closes Jones Chapel Rd. Near Cedar Hill
CEDAR HILL, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A large tobacco barn fire has closed Jones Chapel Road near Cedar Hill as firefighters work to bring the blaze under control.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is on scene blocking the roadway. The responding fire department has not yet been confirmed.
Motorists should avoid the area and seek an alternate route. Smokey Barn News is working to gather additional information.
Cross Plains Fire, Adams Fire, and North Robertson Fire and Rescue are on scene.
UPDATE: Approximately four acres were lost in the fire, according to preliminary information. No injuries were reported.
