Local Church Recreates Bethlehem: A Journey Through Time
JOELTON, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – First Baptist Church of Joelton invites the community to step back in time with their 2nd annual “Journey Through Bethlehem.” This immersive and interactive experience promises to bring the story of Christmas to life in an unforgettable way.

The event runs from Wednesday, December 11, through Sunday, December 15, and is entirely free to attend. Free tickets are available online. Location: (MAP) 7140 White Creek Pike in Joelton, TN
This indoor, family-friendly event is designed to help guests pause amid the holiday hustle and rediscover the joy and meaning of Christmas. Guided tours take visitors through a recreated Bethlehem, offering a glimpse into the bustling streets, the shopkeepers’ stories, and the momentous events surrounding the birth of Jesus.
What to Expect
Your journey begins with a guided tour through the streets of Bethlehem. Along the way, you’ll meet shopkeepers eager to share their tales, shepherds who recount the awe of encountering angels, and townsfolk bustling about their daily lives. Live animals add to the authenticity, making the experience both fun and meaningful for children and adults alike.
The tour concludes with a visit to the stable, where guests will witness Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus in a scene that captures the wonder and hope of the Christmas story.
After the tour, families can enjoy a petting zoo, a perfect way to round out this unique holiday experience.
