Main St Rollover Injures Teen Driver In Springfield
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Springfield Police are investigating after a passenger car struck two parked vehicles and flipped in downtown Springfield Thursday night.
The accident occurred on North Main Street between 2nd West and 3rd, the first call coming into 911 just after 9 pm. MAP
According to Robertson County EMS the 18-year-old female driver was transported to TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield with minor injuries.
The cause of the crash was not immediately available. Should any further details emerge we will bring it to you.
Of the three vehicles involved, two sustained heavy damage, at least one, perhaps two will likely be totaled, and a third vehicle faired somewhat better.
Rollover crashes on residential streets are not that unusual for Springfield, even less so for Main Street for some reason, we’ve certainly covered a few. The important thing here is the young lady escaped the ordeal with minor injuries.
The Springfield Fire Department, the Springfield Police Department, and Robertson County EMS all responded to the scene.
