ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News)- According to officials with Comcast, a large area of Robertson County is without cable this evening and they are working to restore service as soon as possible.
Comcast bucket trucks have been spotted in the Springfield area. As far as a cause of the outage, Comcast is calling it a “chassis” failure which can mean many different things.
Comcast estimates that service will be restored by 2:00am.
UPDATE: “Last night, we experienced a hardware malfunction at our Springfield facility causing a service outage in the surrounding areas and disrupting some channels in our lineup.
Once our system alarms notified us, we responded immediately and were able to repair the equipment in about two hours. We apologize for the inconvenience that this caused,” Sara Jo Houghland Walker Director of Public Relations
