MILLERSVILLE PD: “We’re Not Padlocked” As TBI Executes Search Warrants
MILLERSVILLE, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Smokey Barn News has confirmed that the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) is conducting search warrants at both the Millersville Police Department and the residence of Assistant Police Chief Shawn Taylor.
“TBI special agents are conducting a search warrant execution at the Millersville Police Department and at a location on Skyhawk Ct in White House, TN— (home of Shawn Taylor, the Assistant Police Chief of Millersville) — as part of an ongoing investigation,” TBI PIO Susan Niland said.
Millersville Police Chief Bryan Morris told Smokey Barn News that he believes the TBI investigation is “definitely political” and added, “We have officers out on the road now; we are not padlocked. This is definitely political in nature. I’m not worried about it.”
The TBI has not released any information on the purpose of the investigation or what compelled them to conduct the search warrants.
