The City of Millersville will host its annual Safety Day Extravaganza at the Community Center on Saturday, May 18 from 10 AM until 2 PM.
The event is family friendly, FREE, and open to the public.
There will be giveaways, games, and live entertainment from bluegrass artists South Bound and Familiar Faces and country music artist Chris Turner. There will be food for sale and inflatables, including a 25′ obstacle course, available throughout the day.
The highlight of the Safety Day Extravaganza is, as always, the safety information and demonstrations put on by City staff and several community organizations. This year’s event will be highlighted by chainsaw safety demonstrations from the public works department and demonstrations from the police K-9 uni’t drug, obedience, and drug dog. Also, back with new developments, is the Impaired Driving Obstacle Course. This interactive display will allow participants to drive a golf cart while wearing vision impairing goggles with a police officer at their side for safety and assistance. There will be many other booths and displays where kids and families can learn more about safety at home, work, and school. For more information, please contact Jill at (615) 420-6417.
If you are looking for great ways to decorate your home or office, then you know as well as I do that you have nearly countless options. There are so many ways to decorate that it can easily be very overwhelming to find the right things that are in the right budget. As an interior designer, I am often meeting with clients who are overwhelmed with their options and who are having trouble staying within a budget. I often suggest art posters to these kinds of clients.,.;;
