Missing 4-Year-Old Found Safe by Drone in Under an Hour in Millersville

MILLERSVILLE, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A four-year-old child who wandered 0.5 miles from their home off Poplar Ridge at the Millersville/White House, Tennessee line, was found safe in under an hour, thanks to a coordinated search effort. The child was discovered near a creek by a drone deployed during the search. Other than being a little chilled, the child was in good condition. Robertson and Sumner County agencies wasted no time mobilizing the search effort. According to Sumner County Emergency Management Agency Director Ken Weidner, the swift response and teamwork led to the child’s safe recovery.

The operation involved the White House Community Volunteer Fire Department, Sumner County EMA, Robertson County EMA, Sumner County EMS, and the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office.
