Motorcyclist Critical After Crash In Greenbrier

GREENBRIER TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A motorcyclist is in critical condition following a crash in Greenbrier late Wednesday.
The crash occurred on Hygeia Rd between Windsong Trail and Carrs Creek Blvd, the first call coming into 911 at 11:16 pm Wednesday evening. LOCATION OF CRASH
According to officials at the scene, the motorcyclist was transported to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville in Critical condition.
Greenbrier Police are leading the investigation but there were no obvious indicators as to the cause of the crash.
Hygeia Rd was closed for about two hours while accident investigators processed the scene.
The Greenbrier Police Department, Robertson County EMS, the Greenbrier Fire Department, and the Robertson County Emergency Management Agency all responded to the scene.
As soon as officials are prepared to release more information, such as the cause of the crash and the identity of the motorcyclist, we will bring it to you.
UPDATE: According to Greenbrier Police, the rider is still recovering but is doing better and is expected to be out of ICU in a few days. The cause of the crash is still undetermined. Once investigators have a chance to interview the rider more information is likely to be uncovered.
