Coming Soon To White House, TN

New Strip Mall In Between Waffle House & Zaxby’s…
After speaking to city officials and local businesses in the area, it would seem White House will soon have a new Dunkin Donuts. As we understand it the Dunkin Donuts will be the anchor store on the end of what will be a facility able to house (we believe) four businesses. We’ll call it a mini strip mall.
As we have it, two of the other spots will be an AT&T store and a Great Clips (Haircuts & Hair care Products), we’re not sure on the fourth spot. By the looks of the ground breaking it will be well into next year before you’ll be able to talk on your new cell phone while eating a donut as you get a beautiful new hairdo.
If you live in White House then you already know what a fun and beautiful town it is. About half the size of Springfield it’s cousin to the west, White House is nipping at Springfield’s heels as far as growth. White House has an advantage over Springfield, freeway access. I-65 chops almost right down the middle of it. To get to Springfield is a bit more arduous on slower more winding roads. It’s almost a wonder that White House hasn’t already overtaken Springfield with Nashville right up the road.
At any rate, recruiting businesses like Cracker Barrel is a little easier with a big freeway in your back yard. Though I will say the corporate world is taking notice of Springfield with some great additions in recent years like the Waffle House and Zaxbys.
Robertson County as a whole is a beautiful place to live that offers virtually every kind of life style a person could want, from tobacco farming and country living to all the amenities of city life one would need. We even have a darned good hospital; NorthCrest. They did a nice job sewing me back together last year.

Love a Dunkin Donuts coming to White House but do we really need more fast food restaurants and chains like Chilis, Applebee’s, etc.? No!!! I don’t understand why people in the area don’t want to frequent independent restaurants owned by local people? I’d like to see more fine dining in the area not what is currently available.
